Status Fixed
Location TF 14234 41175
Location Description Main Road, Little Hale, Sleaford Lincs. at a point 80 yards north of the Red Bridge alongside the River Slea on the B1198
Road Name Main Road
Hazard Type Unevenness due to rut or gully
Hazard Description This is a drop in road level forming a long ridge adjacent to the grass verge. It has been noted by Lincolnshire Council and has been marked for possibly 4 weeks. It is getting progressively worse. This fault in the road surface could result in serious consequences if caught by a cycle, motor cycle or even a four wheeled vehicle coming as it does just after a right hand bend. There is no protection from the road to the drop into the river. In the dark it presents even more of a hazard. If the cause of delay is to wait for settlelment as this section of road has a history of subsidence, then a temporary repair is a matter of urgency.
