Hazard Description The hazard is a deep pothole extending from the gutter directly across the part of the road used by cyclists.The natural reaction, which is to swerve to the right and pass the pothole leaving it on the left, throws the rider into the path of overtaking traffic. A lot of the traffic on this road is lorries loaded with gravel from a nearby quarry.
