When reporting a fault the most important things are location location & location. We do not use TQ references. We use 6 figure Eastings and Northings - not that you are expected to know these. Better to go via on something like 'westbound side of road in nearside lane outside no. 33 Whitechapel High Street' for example. The description below is describing a length of road some 250m long! You need to be a lot more specific in the information you give the highway authority. The database fields below need some work!
TfL will report this to the maintenance contractor and address the issue for you but in future all reports must be sent via the 0845 305 1234 number or go via our website at:
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/roadusers/reportastreetfault
Don't set up systems on your own without reference to existing systems that are in place to do this job already.
