Hazard Description Section of unclassified road with deep ruts in the tarmac which are extremely dangerous for cyclists. It is a Durham County Council cycleway so is well used but there have been a number of accidents. On 22nd October a young women had her wheel caught in a rut and was thrown off, sustaining serious injuries to her face which required surgery.
