26 Sep 2010 - 18:26Report againReporterI have reported this twice now and no progress has been made whatsoever
29 Oct 2010 - 19:40Report againReporterMy ongoing concern with this stretch of road is that it is getting worse!! The potholes are getting deeper & longer and the upper layer road surface wearing down over larger areas . With the onset of the colder wetter weather it will end up being a black ice hazard spot for sure. I did stop last weekend to have a closer look and there are some faded painted white marks that probabaly indicate that it had been "marked" for repair ? This stretch of road has been like this for I would say 10 months now, god only knows WHEN it will get sorted.

15 Jul 2011 - 10:41CommentHighway authority[7 July] Just to update you, there is evidently a large development planned for the old goods yard site that involves alterations in Sackville Rd. As such we have decided to do a short term surfacing fix and run a micro asphalt surface over the area. This should give us a good surface for a few years while the development is undertaken after which we will carry out a longer term surfacing solution.
4 Aug 2011 - 19:12CommentReporterPlease reassure me that the small area recently marked out under the bridge is not the only area to be fixed ? There are now several more significant ruts in the road further northbound
22 May 2012 - 15:28FixedLocal representative38746 on Sackville Road in Hove has been resolved - road extensively
resurfaced a few weeks ago.
