Location Description | On the Croydon flyover heading West as it crosses over the High Street very near lamp post No. 030 10 |
Road Name | Croydon flyover |
Hazard Type | Pothole |
Hazard Description | VERY URGENT AND HIGHLY DANGEROUS. Pothole and large chunks of debris on surface where a 1 yard square repair has crumbled. About 8-10 large chunks of road each about 3 inches deep have come out of the hole and are littering the road for about 4 feet from the curb. I narrowly missed a serious accident there this evening, some other cyclist may not be so lucky. THIS IS A TRANSPORT FOR LONDON RED ROUTE, NOT A CROYDON HIGHWAYS ROAD I have previously reported many faults on this flyover to both Croydon Council and TfL. There are other less serious faults on this road but this one is potentially lethal. |
