Location Description A6 Southbound side just south of Hollins Lane. (I think there are similar problems with square manholes further north but I only spotted them briefly when passing by car.)

Hazard Description Failing Manholes and sunken gully. Several of the large square manholes have the tarmac round them breaking up again and starting to form potholes. Also one of the gullies just south of Hollins Lane Junction is sunk over two inches below the adjacent tarmac. This could cause a cyclist to lose control and crash with a passing car.
