Hazard #287

ID #287
Status Reported
Location TA 08467 30412
Location Description The junction of the diagonal path across the park with the perimeter road around it has a virtual trench across it, which regularly fills up with water. It is an inconvenience and hazard for cyclists, and also difficult for prams to negotiate. The drainage system in that section of the park is poor, but, at the least, the trench needs to be filled in. Secondly, the path across the park (towards the police station) is very poorly maintained, especially in the vicinity of the seats. A council which claims to wish to encourage people out of their cars must surely wish to improve this main cycle route between the city centre and the University. about half way across. (These hazards have been getting worse for months).
