| 20 Oct 2009 - 13:18 | Rejected | Highway authority | I refer to your report of HE0180: Grant Way, Brentford (CTC Hazard #22558) regarding defects at the above location. It is not possible to repair all notified defects to the highway because of financial constraints, so in order that the highway is maintained in a safe condition while at the same time controlling expenditure, a "Policy for Defect Maintenance to Roads and Pavements" is agreed each year. With regard to the defect you identify, an inspection has been undertaken on 15/10/2009, but as the defects do not reach the current intervention levels no action will be taken at present. |
