Hazard Description | Hole in tarmac patch with void space underneath. The tarmac patch is collapsing into a large void below the pavement surface - may increase rapidly in size. This is a popular footpath cycle path and has the potential to collapse through leaving a large hole of unknown depth (but at least 250mm). A walker or cyclist falling down this at night is in real risk of breaking an ankle or similar. |
