Location Description | On mill lane as it descends towards the river. There are two or three potholes together. They don’t look like much but they are very dangerous for cyclists as they are so difficult to spot since being surface dressed earlier this year. |
Road Name | Mill Lane, Hebden |
Hazard Type | Pothole |
Hazard Description | Potholes on a narrow road that was surface dressed earlier this year are a dangerous hazard which caused my husband to crash badly on his bike today. By surface dressing existing potholes, it makes it very difficult to spot potholes because the edges are disguised. The pothole that my husband hit may not look much but it caused his front tyre to puncture and caused nasty injuries and damage. |
