16 Jun 2009 - 23:20CommentHighway authorityFishers Lane has been inspected and although the surface course is beginning to deteriorate in places although at this moment in time it does not exceed the Council's current intervention to allow for an immediate effective repair to take place. We are monitoring the location and where possible our contractor will be instructed to undertake repairs as necessary. In the meantime, signs are being erected at either end of Fishers Lane to advise road users of the uneven surface.

Additionally, I can confirm that Fishers Lane, Cold Ash is included in the highway improvement programme for 2009/10 and works will be undertaken by our Projects Team. Currently at this moment in time I am not in position to provide you with an actual start date.

In the meantime, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
