Location Description If you're crossing the A6 from Hala Road to Ashford Road, turn right immediately after the crossing, towards Piccadilly (and the cycle route across Ashton field). Soon after this turn, perhaps 50 metres, is the area of potholes.

Hazard Description Generalised potting, but one big pot hole amongst it. I hit this big hole riding home last Friday (6th Feb. 2009), and lost control of my bike completely. Luckily I was not badly injured (just shaken up) from my fall.
Approximate Size large area of poor surfacing. Main pot hole approx. 10 inches square.
Approximate Depth Perhaps an inch.
Approximate distance from Kerb Maybe half a metre.
