Location Description | On the sharp bend on Montrose Avenue by the blue gates - on the inside of the corner on the pavement. This road also floods whenever there's a tiny bit of rain which also needs sorting. |
Road Name | Montrose Avenue |
Hazard Type | Raised/sunken manhole or drain |
Hazard Description | Collapsed hole beneath manhole cover. Caused by articulated lorries coming down the road and mounting the pavement on the corner. Now it's really dangerous for pedestrians as one side collapsed and the other sticking up and is a serious trip hazard - especially now it's darker. Last time someone tried 'fixing' it they just dumped a load of tarmac over the top. Ridiculous. |
Approximate Size | 5 ft x 2.5ft |
Approximate Depth | Don't know how deep the hole is underneat |
Approximate distance from Kerb | In the middle of the pavement |
Date Encountered | 10 Oct 2019 |
