Hazard Description | This is along the London Cycle path Quietway 1, the sharp turn from Norman Road on to the path that leads across the creek Deptford Creek. \n\nThe cycle path turn is designed poorly. It is a sharpe 90 turn on to a narrow path shared by pedestrians and cycles, and around that turn there os a permanent building site (over a year at least) which have huge lorries coming in and out. There are also building site boarding which covers part of the pavement along Norman Road making the pedestrian walkway extremely narrow. As a cyclist I find either lorries blocking the sharp turn or pedestrians having to be on the street as the pavement is too narrow.\n\nThe turn on to Quietway 1 needs a better design. |
