Road Name A46 Leicester Western Bypass trunk road
Hazard Type Other
Hazard Description The hazard is several raised lumps, about two inches high. I caught an earlier lump at the same site and was thrown off my bike (causing £60 damage) into the southbound main carriageway of this trunk road - only a miracle of timing stopped me being run over. At that time the hazard was removed, and I was compensated by the contractors AMScott (October 2003). I have reported this in November 2006 through AMSAcott's website but noithing has been done. If a child on the cycle path (or an adult) there is a serious danger of them being killed by traffic on the main carraigeway.
