Hazard #119

ID #119
Status Fixed
Location NZ 48330 17938
Location Description NW corner of the junction of Cambridge Rd and Thornfield Rd, Middlesbrough.
Road Name NW corner of the junction of Cambridge Rd and Thornfield Rd.
Hazard Type Other
Hazard Description Odd hazard. The road edge has sunk slightly, so when it rains the puddle doesn't drain. It is only a hazard when there is rain followed by frost; the traffic turning left from Cambridge Rd (W=Acklam Rd end) toward Thornfield Rd (N=Burlam Rd end) splashes the water over the road, and when it is frosty there can be a sheet of ice half-way across Thornfield Rd, almost to the white line. If I manage to ride a bicycle onto it, I can rely on falling off in the middle of the road.
