13 Mar 2008 - 21:30CommentReporterA Council notice has appeared recently on a lamp post in the relevant area saying there will be a road closure to re-surface the whole area, sometime in April 08.
20 Jun 2008 - 21:58CommentReporterThe previous comment in the History is true in that part of the road was re-surfaced, albeit at the beginning of June 08. But they did not start near the defect and so the defect remains. I have reported it once again to the Council.
19 Dec 2008 - 23:32FixedReporterEvery once in a while I have raised this hazard again and again with Poole, direct through their "report it" section of the website. The last time was 4th Dec 2008. After being given a new reference number I received the following response:
"The defect has already been issued to our contractor and is waiting for completion, I understand that traffic management issues, and the need to batch this job with similar work may be responsible for the delay.

The contractor has been informed that it is now urgent and should be brought to the top of list, with completion required in the next few weeks."

And it has finally been completed! For the past three days I have not received a 'kick' from the back end of the bike as I ride over it to work - it's smooth and SAFE!
