Location Description The length of Sandy Lane, through South Parade and up Lydiate Lane.
Road Name The three above
Hazard Type Unevenness due to rut or gully
Hazard Description Mainly ruts across the roads, and poorly patched-up previous efforts. Sandy Lane has disused rail lines crossing it causing big hazards. Constant HGV traffic use means these roads need serious overhauling - not more patch-ups. Serious near misses between us cyclists and tankers suggest that someone's going to get hurt soon, unless the council addresses this problem.
