Hazard Description Excessive ruts near the gutter which fill with water, come winter this will freeze and make the ruts worse. This rutted surface forces cyclists away from the kerb and into the centre of the carriageway which means they are directly in the flow of traffic, which not every motorist appreciates. This is dangerous.
