Hazard Description The road has been resurfaced, but the new tarmac stops short of the kerb, leaving a trench several yards long and about 8 inches wide. This trapped my front wheel, causing me to collide with a stationary car to my right (waiting for the traffic lights) and then go over the handlebars onto the kerb.
