| 14 Jul 2010 - 12:26 | Comment | Highway authority | Thank you for contacting Norwich City Council regarding your concerns relating to the state of the road surface at Witard Road. The roads in the Norwich area suffered considerable damage during the unusually adverse weather conditions experienced earlier this year. However, because of the council's budgetary circumstances at that time, only patching could be carried out, and this was prioritised based on safety. Nevertheless, the council has worked hard to secure additional funding and I am pleased to advise that this has been forthcoming and the council has now began a full programme of resurfacing and patching works. Witard Road is due for resurfacing in mid-July. |
| 23 Jul 2010 - 18:53 | Fixed | Highway authority | Resurfacing has been completed today. |
| 24 Jul 2010 - 20:18 | Update | Reporter | Highway authority reference changed to: 36140 the road has been totally resurfaced so problem fixed. |
