Hazard #36095

ID #36095
Status Rejected
Location NZ 49975 19704
Location Description All the way up Southfield road, but mainly at the Marton road end.
Road Name Southfield Road
Hazard Type Other
Hazard Description Speed bumps are positioned in a way that is very dangerous for cyclists. Car drivers NEVER go over the bumps, and instead opt to go around them on the left (if the parking bays are empty) or in the center. When traffic is dealing with the bumps cyclists are being squashed to the left into the backs of parked cars or within the door zone. This is a major hazard and I have already had a near miss.
