Is there a Windows phone 7 app?

No, not yet. We only have an iPhone app at the moment, as we were able to obtain funding to develop this.

If we can find funding (perhaps a few thousand pounds) to fund a developer, or find a developer willing to write it for free, then it’s perfectly possible.

Another issue that has arisen from the iPhone App is that GPS location data can sometimes be very inaccurate, resulting in locations being plotted a long way from the actual hazard. This wastes time as the Highway Authority cannot find the hazard, and our time trying to sort things out.

There may be a possibility that we could publish an open API (most probably using the Open311 standard) that anyone could write a program to use, but we would need a way to ensure that the reports sent from mobile devices were accurate enough to be useful.
